Foundation Models for Robotics vs. Language
Master's Thesis · TU Munich
Automated large-scale systematic literature review of Foundation Model development using LLMs as the analysis engine. Built a scalable ETL pipeline processing ArXiv papers — benchmarked against the EpochAI dataset (900+ manually reviewed models). Revealed exponential parameter growth, a shift to Transformer architectures, and high multimodality as a hallmark of robotics Foundation Models.

Eliminates cryptic splice sites from synthetic genes without altering the encoded protein. Scores every nucleotide with SpliceAI or Splam deep learning models, then greedily swaps synonymous codons using a three-tier hotspot escalation strategy over a ~3^300 search space.
